Robin was born in Eureka, CA. but raised in San Jose’s Willow Glen area. Northern California born and raised and he takes great pride in that. He began playing the guitar when he was eleven years old after watching his Dad and older brother play and sing all the time. Robin played in a band throughout Jr. High and High School with Eric Kretz who went on to be the drummer for the Stone Temple Pilots. I spent most of my adult life doing solo acoustic stuff through out the Bay Area, pub’s and coffee house gigs. Most recently I’ve been playing guitar for the band Amber Haze out of Brentwood.
My musical influence’s are: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bad Company, James Taylor, STP, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, early Def Leppard, Journey, Rush, Triumph, Fuel, Amos Lee.
