Mike is one of the founding members originating from The Monterey Bay area town of Santa Cruz. He had his first taste with an old acoustic guitar stashed in his dad's closet. Though at the time he was still too young to really grasp it, but the seed was sown.  Just out of junior high Mike met school band mates brother Jimmy Amick who as a guitarist had this ability to play guitar chops of Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Joe Perry, Ted Nugent perfectly. Since then Mike has put roughly 30 years of guitar playing under his belt with lots of concerts big and small, covering lots of miles. He played with Eddie Money bassist Lee Beverly in the very popular 80's band Flight. He had a very successful original band called T.Y.R. on Retrospect Records using his stage name Gregg Michaels citing it was the thing to do in the 80's. He has opened shows for rock legends such as  Foghat, Joe Perry, Ronnie Montrose, Sammy Hagar and the Pat Travers Band.  And various other national acts like Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Scorpions, The Bullet Boys, Roxx Gang, Junkyard, Extreme, Keel, Y&T, Greg Kihn, Tora Tora, Dangerous Toys, Lillian Axe, Gorky Park, Vain as well as 2 world tours with Atlantic Recording Artists Vicious Rumors as technical support with some guest stage appearances.  He now resides in the Northern California where he still managed to come together with some of the best players that the S.F. bay area had to offer.
