Brett was raised in Palo Alto, CA, and began playing keyboard before the age of 5. He joined his first band at the age of 12, and never looked back. Since then, he has performed with a wide variety of bands, playing everything from Southern Rock, to blues, to Progressive Metal. For seven years, he toured all over the Western US, playing with Briefcase Full Of Blues, a successful Blues Brothers tribute band. With that band, he performed in front of huge crowds in Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe, and all over the West Coast, sharing the stage with acts such as Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Elvin Bishop, Dave Mason, The Coasters, The Busboys, Canned Heat, Mickey Thomas of Jefferson Starship, and Marshal Tucker Band. He then formed another successful tribute band, Paradise Theatre- Tribute to Styx. Brett has been performing with Gator Alley Band for the past two years, bringing his energetic playing style to the Gator Alley sound
